We are a private, non-profit cultural and educational Foundation that promotes educational initiatives to foster training, research, and critical thinking.
We focus on areas such as economics, finance, law, and taxation, with a special focus on the financial system and its regulation. We also promote cultural and scientific activities that reinforce our mission: to contribute to a more informed, prepared, and committed society ready for the challenges of the present and the future.
We promote social programs focused on financial and digital inclusion, in collaboration with third-sector entities. The goal is for all individuals, especially the most vulnerable, to access the resources and knowledge necessary to function autonomously in an increasingly digital environment.
A well-informed citizenry makes better decisions, which contributes to a fairer society with greater opportunities. That is why we work in three key areas:
Programs aimed at different groups, such as people with disabilities, seniors, or young people and children, to reduce the financial knowledge gap and foster their autonomy.
We believe in the transformative power of ideas and knowledge. Therefore, at the AEB Foundation, we publicly recognize those who contribute to building a more prepared society through education and research with the Alcanza Awards and the Federico Prades Award. We also promote spaces for reflection and analysis that help us better understand the challenges of the financial system and its role in a constantly evolving world through the Spanish Institute of Banking and Finance.
