Our commitment

At the AEB, we believe that sustainability is key to the economic, social, and environmental future of our society. Through Finresp and other initiatives, we drive the financial sector’s commitment to ESG (environmental, social, and governance) objectives, promoting the exchange of ideas, innovation, financial education in sustainability, green financing, and social responsibility. We work to be an active part of the shift toward a fairer, more resilient, and sustainable model.

Finresp

Finresp is Spain’s Center for Sustainable and Responsible Finance, promoted by the main financial associations—including the AEB—to channel and consolidate the financial sector’s commitment to ESG (environmental, social, and governance) challenges. The financial sector assists and accompanies the responsible decarbonization of the economy and has the capacity and commitment to finance the energy transition and contribute through its activity to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
